Holly joined LGP in 2019 primarily assisting Timothy Graham and Vanessa Hoare in Dispute Resolution, Employment and our Corporate departments. Holly has a background in insurance and is currently undertaking legal studies to progress her career in law.

Helen joined the team in 2017 working, primarily for Rosalie Garry and Sharan Uppal in the Commercial Property department.

Rosalie Cowley

Rosalie is head of the Commercial Property Department and specialises in Landlord and Tenant work. She mainly advises national clients in relation to a range of property interests and transactions. Her extensive knowledge of commercial property means that she can advise on all aspects of each matter

Rosalie trained as a solicitor in the City of London before moving to practise in Marlow. She has substantial commercial experience within and outside legal practice and ran an antiques business for many years; this provided her with the experience to understand the commercial angles and the balance that needs to be struck when negotiating and completing deals. Rosalie became a partner at LGP in November 2017.

Sharan Uppal is an associate solicitor and has been with LGP since 2014. She specialises in Commercial Property including the sale and purchase of all types of Commercial Property and landlord and tenant work.

Sharan also acts for lenders or borrowers in commercial lending transactions and has particular experience in development/real estate, acting for developers of residential developments. She has an approachable manner and works hard to ensure that her clients achieve their preferred outcome.

Sharan also has considerable experience in Residential Property matters which gives her a solid background in all her legal property work.

In addition to advising on property matters Sharan is part of the Corporate team and works on corporate transactions, in particular business asset sales.

Vanessa Hoare joined the firm in 2010 having worked both at a leading law firm in the South West and in-house at a property and business service company. She became a Partner at LGP in January 2015.

Vanessa enjoys particular expertise in Corporate and Commercial Contract work including areas such as acquisitions, corporate finance and terms & conditions. She advises on the legal risks, whilst also understanding that the commercial risks must also take into account. Vanessa can advise both major organisations that have their own legal counsel and directors of newly incorporated companies that have never sought legal advice before.

She also advises employers in relation to employment processes such as TUPE transfers and redundancies. Vanessa is the firm’s Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA).
